白色粉末或六方棱柱形结晶。相对密度2.633。溶于水，水溶液呈碱性。微溶于醇，不溶于液氯、氨。为强氧化剂，与二氧化硫作用生成亚硫酸氢钠，与强酸反应生成相应盐并析出二氧化硫。
Properties:
Sodium Sulfite soluble in water is alkali.
It is feeble soluble in liquid chloride or
ammonia. It is a reducing agent.
1.2用途;印染工业作为脱氧剂和漂白剂，用于各种棉织物的煮炼，并提高煮炼物的白度。感光工业用作显影剂。有机化工的还原剂，造纸、纺织的稳定剂。水处理工业用于电镀废水、饮用水的处理。
Usage
: It is used as a deoxidizing or bleaching
agent for printing and dyeing industry, to
process kinds of textiles and can enhance
whiteness; as a lignin-removing agent for
paper industry, as a stabilizer for
synthetic fiber for textile industry, and as
a reducing agent for chemical industry, or
for electroplating industry etc.

1.4安全防护:本品有毒、无味，其粉尘和溶液对皮肤、眼睛和黏膜有刺激作用。

1.5包装与储存:用内衬聚乙烯塑料袋，中间为双层牛皮纸的塑料编织袋或胶带包装。内袋扎口或热合，外袋牢固封口，每袋净重50kg。
Package and storage:

woven bag. Net weight: 25Kg or 50Kg. Bags
must be sealed tightly to be free from air
and humidity. Not allow in a room with any
oxidant or strong acid. Keep away from
sunlight and rainwater during transportation
.It can’t store more than half year.
应贮存在阴凉、干燥的库房中。包装必须密封，勿与空气接触，防止受潮变质。不可与氧化剂、强酸类物品及有害有毒物质共贮混运。本品有潮解性，不宜久贮。运输时要防雨淋和日光暴晒。贮存期不得超过半年。
2、二水氯化钡

无色有光泽的单斜晶体或无色透明液体。相对密度3.09%溶于水，微溶于盐酸、硝酸，极微溶于醇。温度高于113℃时失去二分子水。水溶液有苦味，有毒！
Properties:
clear bright monoclihal crystal, relative
density: 3.09%. It can be soluble in water,
feeble soluble in HCl and NaOH, hardly
soluble in alcohol. Lost it’s water when
temperature higher than 113℃. Its solution
tastes bitter and is toxic.
2.2用途:是制造钡盐的原料，可用作杀虫剂，以防治多种植物害虫。用于精制电解法制烧碱的盐水和锅炉用水。也用于制备颜料。纺织工业和皮革工业用作媒染剂和人造丝消光剂。机械工业用于淬火及金属加工等。
Usage:

mordant and absorbing light agent of
artificial silk in textile industry and
leather industry; used to refine the brine
and water boiler of producing NaOH by

2.4安全与防护：氯化钡是剧毒品。可引起大脑及软脑脑炎症。生产过程中要注意防尘和除尘。工作时应戴口罩，手套。穿工作服，以保护皮肤和呼吸器官。
Safety and protection:

cared to get rid of dust and dust-proof
during process. Wear work clothes, gauze
mask and gloves while working to protect
skin and respiratory organs.
2.5包装与储存：用内衬塑料袋的编织袋包装，每袋净重50kg。
应贮存在避风、干燥的库房中。注意包装完整，严防受潮。不可与食物原料共贮混运。液体用槽车罐装，气温低时应注意保温防止结晶析出,储存期为十个月。
